What RareReg Verified means
RareReg Verified means RareReg reviewed qualifying documentation or information for the vehicle under its verification process and approved the vehicle’s verification status based on that review. Verification is tied to the vehicle/VIN record, not a general endorsement of an owner, seller, dealer, listing, or transaction.
What verification does not mean
RareReg Verified is not:
- A mechanical inspection, warranty, appraisal, title insurance, or guarantee of legal ownership.
- A guarantee of condition, seller statements, originality of every component, investment value, or future collectibility.
- A guarantee against fraud or that a VIN has never been altered.
- Factory certification unless the reviewed record specifically includes supporting factory documentation.
Users must still conduct independent due diligence.
What Unverified means
Unverified means RareReg has not completed its optional verification process successfully for that vehicle. It does not automatically mean the vehicle, owner, seller, listing, or information is fake, fraudulent, or inaccurate.
Verification process
The owner or authorized dealer will be asked to provide appropriate vehicle documentation or information for review. Requirements can depend on the vehicle and claimed specialty identity. RareReg has not published a universal document checklist or guaranteed review timeline.
RareReg may request clarification, decline verification when the available material is insufficient, or later revisit a status if material information changes.
Current pricing
- Free registration: $0. A qualifying vehicle is Unverified unless verification is completed successfully.
- Private-owner verification: $14.99 one-time per vehicle.
- Featured: $9.99 add-on, separate from verification.
- Dealer 20: $149 per month for up to 20 verifications per billing month.
- Dealer 100: $299 per month for up to 100 verifications per billing month.
Featured eligibility
Only a currently Verified vehicle is eligible for Featured or hero placement. Verification does not automatically make a vehicle Featured, and Featured does not expand the meaning of verification.
The purchase workflow and Featured placement duration are not currently implemented or finalized. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy before any future purchase.
Dealer allowances
Dealer verification allowances reset each billing cycle and unused verifications do not roll over. RareReg has not approved overage pricing or additional dealer benefits. The subscription checkout and cancellation workflow are not live. See the Dealer Terms.
