Current cookie use

RareReg currently uses technically necessary authentication and session technology supplied through Supabase. These cookies support sign-in, session continuity, confirmation, sign-out, and protection of account-only features.

Why essential cookies are used

  • Authenticate users and refresh sessions.
  • Apply account, owner, and administrator access controls.
  • Protect private offers, uploads, claims, and account pages.
  • Maintain security and basic application operation.

Systems not currently detected

The application code does not currently implement a first-party analytics library, advertising network, advertising pixel, behavioral tracking script, social-media embed, or non-essential marketing-cookie system. RareReg therefore has not added a cookie-consent banner merely for appearance.

Hosting and technical records

Vercel and Supabase may process request information, IP address, browser/device attributes, security events, and diagnostic logs in operating the application. The contact endpoint also uses a host-forwarded IP address temporarily in server memory to enforce a short abuse limit. These operations do not add an advertising profile in RareReg’s application database.

Browser controls

You can block or remove cookies using browser settings, but disabling essential session cookies can prevent sign-in and account features from working. RareReg does not currently provide a separate preference center because no optional cookie categories are implemented.

Future changes and contact

If RareReg adds analytics, advertising, or other non-essential tracking, this Policy and any legally required consent controls should be updated before activation.
