RareReg and third-party rights
RareReg owns or licenses its site software, design, branding, and original editorial material. Vehicle manufacturers, builders, sellers, photographers, users, marketplaces, and data providers may own or control their respective names, marks, photographs, listing copy, and other material.
Submitted content
Only submit photographs, documents, text, or data that you own or have permission to use. By submitting content, you grant the operational license described in the Terms of Use.
Owner uploads, seller-authorized external photographs, and licensed API/feed content retain their source context. Access to an API or feed does not automatically transfer copyright ownership to RareReg.
Source-specific image rights
RareReg maintains source attribution and image provenance where supported by the listing architecture. Permission for one listing, seller, or source does not authorize reuse for unrelated records or purposes. Do not copy images from search engines, dealers, marketplaces, or aggregators without appropriate rights.
Copyright complaint
Send a written complaint to info@rarereg.com with: your name and contact information; identification of the copyrighted work; the exact RareReg URL and enough detail to locate the material; a description of your rights or authority; a good-faith statement that the use is not authorized; and a statement that the information is accurate.
RareReg may request additional information sufficient to evaluate the complaint and the requester’s authority.
Review and takedown
RareReg may restrict or remove material while reviewing a complaint, notify the submitter or source, preserve relevant records, restore material when appropriate, and take action against repeated infringement. Takedown does not necessarily remove factual registry information that is independently sourced or lawfully retained.
Response or counter-notice
If your material is removed and you believe the complaint was mistaken, email RareReg with identification of the removed material, its prior location, your contact information, the basis for your authority or lawful use, and any other information requested. Formal statutory counter-notice requirements and consequences can vary; consider obtaining legal advice before submitting one.
DMCA agent status
RareReg does not represent that it currently has a registered DMCA designated agent. The repository contains no evidence of a U.S. Copyright Office designation.
Registering and maintaining a designated agent, if RareReg seeks applicable U.S. safe-harbor protections, is a separate legal/business step. Until that is completed and verified, copyright notices should be sent to info@rarereg.com.
